Want to become a basketball referee? If you’re 15 and over, now’s your chance – and we’ll pay for your training if you’re a current St Christopher’s player!
Keilor Basketball Association are taking applications for their Apprentice Junior Domestic Course.
Training is held over 4 Tuesday nights 9, 16, 23 and 30 May, from 5:00pm – 7:00pm. You need to attend all training sessions.
The Junior Domestic Course is aimed at providing a comprehensive understanding of the rules, regulations, and mechanics of basketball refereeing. There’s a mix of in-classroom theory and on-court experience on Saturday Junior domestic.
The course will give you the skills and knowledge necessary to become a confident and competent referee.
To apply, you need to be 15 years or older. KBA will consider all applicants, regardless of experience level.
