We are pleased to announce that Keilor Basketball Association is providing coaches the opportunity to earn accreditation and develop their coaching at the Club Coaching Course (previously level one). We aim to have all our coaches holding this accreditation.

Facilitated at Keilor Basketball Stadium, the course consists of six hours of practical on-court work, and one hour of online training.

Suitable for coaches of all levels looking to gain a deeper understanding of how to plan a season, structure a training session, and build individual and team skills for both their offence and defence.

This course also gives access to the Coaching Made Easy resources of Individual Body Movement and Ball Skills, Individual Offensive and Defensive Skills, Role of the Coach, Team Offensive and Defensive Skills, and Training Drills.

Club Coaching Course Dates:
Sunday 24 July 2022, 10.00am – 4.00pm, Court 4
Sunday 4 September 2022, 10.00am – 4.00pm, Court 4
Sunday 30 October 2022, 10.00am – 4.00pm, Court 4

Please note registration is not available for the September and October courses at this stage as BV is changing registration systems. We will provide them when they are available. The course costs $150 and we will reimburse existing coaches who complete the course.
If you are not currently coaching but interested in doing the course, talk to us and we may refund your attendance.
